We seek a Refrigeration Installation Supervisor responsible for the profitable execution and delivery of Installation services in the Southern CA marketplace. The Installation Supervisor also serves as a technical lead and/or mentor to other technicians in their area of responsibility, as well as a technical resource on projects, depending on business needs and customer demand.  Candidates that also have strong HVAC experience will be especially valuable as well!

KEY CRITERIA

• Knowledge of supermarket refrigeration, mechanical contracting (HVAC), installation industry, principles and practices related to project estimation, labor forecasting, building permits, multiple disciplines involved in area of responsibility e.g. plumbing, electrical, carpentry and fixtures construction.
• Responsible for installation services across the area through creating a culture of safety, coordinating and planning refrigeration and HVAC or Refrigeration installation projects and jobs
• Working supervisor that trains and further develops foremen and work crews
• Forecasts manpower requirements and manages financial performance on projects and jobs including analysis and reporting on job status and performance

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:

• High school diploma or equivalent such as trade school; College degree is a plus.
• 5 or more years of experience in commercial construction, or a related industry. 
• Knowledge of construction principles and practices, including labor hour estimation, forecasting, and multiple disciplines involved in area of responsibility.
• Proficiency in understanding and managing P&L.
