Currently, we are seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to supervise and control all strategic and business aspects for our MEP company in NC. Position can sit in Greensboro, Charlotte, or Raleigh, NC. The CEO will be responsible for giving the proper strategic direction as well as creating a vision for success. The ideal candidate will be people focused with an aggressive growth and high-performance mindset. They will take actions to enhance the company’s cash flow while keeping the human factor in perspective. The goal is to drive the company’s development and guide it towards continued long-term success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.
• Lead and motivate the Executive and Management teams to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing leadership team.
• Oversee all sales, operations, and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
• Lead and motivate the talent within the organization; cast the vision and inspire a strong, healthy culture.
• Ensure a work environment that promotes high performance and positive morale.
• Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and delivering positive results.
• Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits.
• Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics.
• Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders.
• Maintain a deep knowledge of the MEP markets and industry of our company.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Proven experience as CEO or other C-Suite level role in the commercial and industrial MEP space.
• 10 + years demonstrable experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision in the commercial and industrial MEP space.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
• Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, HR, finance, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
• MSc/MA in business administration or relevant field
