We seek self-motivated high energy sales reps that can prospect, quote and close new opportunities for the firm's service division - repairs, replacements.

HVAC & BAS Sales Rep sought for highly regarded MEP Firm based in St. Louis

Our client is a nationwide full-service design-build-maintain contractor and one of the fastest growing mechanical engineering and construction firms.  Headquartered in the St. Louis area, they offer a broad range of construction, design and facility services.  They take great pride in attracting highly skilled engineering talent that has the ability to be team players in the construction process, identifying owner needs, offering alternatives, providing cost benefit analysis and coordinating with the architect and other consultants to deliver the best total value to their clientele.

They have built commercial and industrial design and construction projects ranging up to $35 million for clients in 42 states and counting, and in a broad range of industries.

Currently, we seek self-motivated high energy sales reps that can prospect, quote and close new opportunities for the firm’s service division – focused on preventative maintenance, repairs and replacements.

Key Criteria

  • Develop a “trusted advisor” relationship with facility owners and managers
  • Identify and cultivate new business as well as support existing accounts
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to proposal
  • Provide Sales support to Operations teams during project implementation
  • Work with minimal supervision in promoting the firm’s products and services
  • Be a self-starter with effective time management skills
  • Maintain timely sales prospects and opportunity pipeline data
  • Utilize PDA / PC / Outlook to maintain record of sales related activities


  • Minimum 3 years sales experience of commercial or industrial services – HVAC preferred but related industry experience is fine.
  • Demonstrate technical & relationship based selling skills
  • Strong writing and verbal skills
  • Computer experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Commercial / Healthcare / Institutional experience a plus
