Manufacturer's Rep seeks Top Notch Sales Engineers - MEP Line Card

Our client is a privately owned and operated manufacturer’s representative firm for venting and mechanical equipment products, is looking for highly motivated Sales Reps to join the team.  We value teamwork, quality, and integrity, which is our most important core value.  Growth is vital to our company, but not at the expense of our customer service.  If you have experience in the HVAC, plumbing or electrical fields and want to create a long-term career for yourself within an organization that promotes growth and leadership, then we would like to speak with you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively promotes company-represented product lines with the local consulting engineers, owners, owners’ reps, and local contractors.
  • Aggressively pursue specifications for our equipment with the engineers and develop relationships with building owners and their reps. 
  • Regularly call on critical influencers to include consulting engineering firms to keep them informed of new product introductions and update them on the latest technology advancements.
  • Drive specifications for all products represented by UEP with the influencers described above to become their preferred supplier.
  • Provide expert guidance for the engineering community in finding solutions to project needs.
  • Regularly schedule and facilitate lunch and learn meetings.

Successful Candidates Must Have:

  • 10 + years estimating/sales related industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, will consider relevant work experience
  • Detailed understanding of mechanical drawings and written specifications
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work autonomously with little supervision
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and PDF software
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred
  • Understanding of the Bidding Process within the HVAC Industry
  • Understanding of Salesforce and other CRM’s a plus
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Experience with mechanical/plumbing equipment including venting such as: Condensing Water and Steam Boilers | Pumps | HX’s | Generator Exhaust | Boiler Exhaust Flue |Exhaust Fans
