Overview

Due to their explosive growth and impressive prospects for a bright future our client seeks a high caliber sales director that has a track record of inspired leadership in home services and light commercial business.

Our client, based in the Mid-South USA, was formed in recent years with the goal of acquiring and managing companies that provide essential maintenance, repair, replacement, and new installation services for the residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (“HVAC”), plumbing, electrical, and other essential related services.  Due to their explosive growth and impressive prospects for a bright future they now seek a high caliber sales director that has a track record of inspired leadership in home services and light commercial business.

Key Attributes and Qualifications

  • Residential / Light Commercial HVAC Market Growth Knowledge with a Proven Track Record of Leadership Success.
  • Successful experience coaching, training, motivating others, recruiting talent and building high performing teams; enhancing better sales processes throughout an organization.
  • Career progression from Comfort Advisor to Sales Manager to General Manager and so forth would be highly desirable – we’d like to see candidates that have performed the role of those that would not be their direct reports.
  • Experience working with Vendors for potential Co-Op leverage.
  • Experience working with Marketing teams/firms to drive strong demand and ROI.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to all locations is essential including training sessions and field ride alongs. Although remote location candidates are welcome, the Sales Director is expected to be onsite a great deal of the time to be successful in this role.
  • 4-year college degree is preferred, but not required.
  • High degree of Competence with Office 365 plus industry software for sales tracking and sales reporting.
  • Experience and competence with Service Titan or similar platform is highly desirable.
