A respected, privately owned manufacturer’s representative firm for HVAC, venting, and mechanical equipment is seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Representative to join its growing team.

As an HVAC Sales Representative, you will:
Promote manufacturer-represented HVAC and mechanical equipment product lines
Drive equipment specifications with consulting engineers
Develop relationships with building owners, owner’s representatives, and contractors
Call on consulting engineering firms to support project specifications
Present new products and technical advancements
Conduct Lunch & Learn presentations
Provide technical guidance on mechanical system solutions
Support the HVAC bidding process and project development lifecycle
Position the company as the preferred supplier for venting and mechanical systems
Experience with the following mechanical equipment is highly preferred:
Condensing Water Boilers
Steam Boilers
Pumps
Heat Exchangers (HX)
Generator Exhaust Systems
Boiler Exhaust Flue Systems
Exhaust Fans
Venting Systems
To succeed in this HVAC Sales role, candidates should have:
10+ years of HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical equipment sales/estimating experience
Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and written specifications
Experience working with consulting engineers and project influencers
Knowledge of the HVAC bidding process
CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF software
Basic AutoCAD knowledge (preferred)
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
Bachelor’s degree preferred (relevant experience considered)
