Currently, they seek an Outside Sales Engineer to cover Long Island, NYC Metro and the Lower Hudson Valley.  The successful candidate will have experience with commercial heating equipment including high- and low-pressure steam and hot water boilers, burners, pumps, infra-red heaters and other auxiliary items.  Your customers and prospects will be commercial and industrial distributors, contractors, utilities and engineers.

KEY CRITERIA

  • Disciplined self-starter
  • Team player adept at collaborating with sales support staff, manufacturer’s support staff and other sales engineers
  • Technologically proficient and understands how to utilize dedicated marketing support function to fuel sales effort
  • Possesses aggressive near-term personal earning goals
  • Experienced in boiler room and heating plant equipment operation and sales.
  • Excellent written, verbal & presentation communication
  • Field Experience in the development and sales of commerce/ industrial high- and low-pressure steam and hot water boilers, boiler systems, burners, pumps and ancillary combustion related equipment.
  • Candidate must possess a successful, consistent $ 1 Million plus annual sales record for at least 3 to 5 years with 7 to 10 years of overall sales experience.
  • Desired Education: BSME or equivalent field experience. Equivalent field experience shall consist of a minimum of seven to ten years of successful sales experience as detailed above.
