National Account Sales Executive for Major HVAC Services Provider

Our client is one of the most well-known and well-respected national firms with offices in major cities throughout the United States offering customers a single source for complete HVAC service in the areas of HVAC, energy engineering, project development, sales support, and design-build services to clients throughout the country. Our primary activity is identifying building systems retrofit projects that provide value to building owners through energy efficiency and operating cost reductions.

Currently, we seek a National Accounts Sales Executive to call on multi-location customers in various regions throughout the US. The right candidate will be well-qualified to close multi-million dollar deals and to use that platform as a way to sell service work and energy savings solutions, too. The successful candidate will be well-rewarded if they achieve plan: the goal is to sell no less than $5 million in business in the first 12-to-18 months and then grow the business to at least $15 million within 2 to 3 years. Top achievers currently are earning well over $200,000 and there is no cap on earnings.  Primarily, these will be retail sector customers but other multi-location accounts will be targeted as well.  The right candidate will be well-qualified to close multi-million dollar deals and to use that platform as a way to sell service work and energy savings solutions, too.

Credentials and capabilities

  • Develop product and market specific sales strategies and tactics directed toward originating new business opportunities.
  • Identify qualified customers in need of Maintenance Agreement Service Agreements
  • Secure new customers by direct solicitation, building business relationships with alliance partners, customer organizations, energy-users groups, federal, state and local agencies.
  • Facilitate customer meetings and the introduction of financial and project development capabilities.
  • Maintain an entrepreneurial mindset to develop a major market in an evolving business environment.
