Territory Sales Engineers: Variable Refrigerant Flow and Duct Free Split Systems – Nationwide Opportunities

Our client is a major distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products and supplies throughout the U.S.  They have an exciting opportunity for a VRF Sales Engineer in various territories across the US, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales growth and drive specifications of VRF/DFS products through consulting engineers, mechanical contractors and end users by marketing, specification, selection, and sales.
  • Support the Inside and Outside Sales organization by providing technical support and application information on all VRF/DFS products
  • Seek new business opportunities by responding to new customers inquiries and the marketing of products and services
  • Analyze the territory, develop, execute, and monitor sales programs of the VRF/DFS products
  • Take responsibility for generating quotes/proposals for VRF/DFS equipment for engineers, mechanical contractors, and owners, then working to close the sale
  • Make presentations in front of engineers, mechanical contractors, and owners on VRF/DFS products
  • Help maintain pre and post sales job files

Education & Experience

  • AA/AS degree with 5-10+ years experience or
  • BA/BS degree with 2-5+ years experience


  • 2-5 years of HVAC experience or knowledge of HVAC preferred
  • High sense of urgency and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal direction from management
  • Strong business, technical and problem solving skills needed
  • Proficient with a PC and Microsoft Office applications
